** Our Annual Halloween Party took place in the West County Hotel at 7pm on Wednesday October 26th. Take a look at our photos here.

** We hope you've all got your Starlings CD by now, but if not, then it is still available - just phone 083-1119470. The CD is just fantastic - well done to everyone involved. Our fundraising page has photos taken during the CD recording sessions - to will give you some idea of the work that went into the CD. AND DON'T FORGET TO BUY A CD OR TWO!!!

** WELL DONE TO OUR FUNDRAISING COMMITTEE who have managed to raise €100,000 for our building fund since September 2010. Its a fantastic achievement.

** Well done to all our swimmers who took part in a swim gala in Ennis recently. Knockanean came 1st overall for the second year in a row.

** We've just recently been awarded our 2nd Green Flag. Take a look at our Green Flag page for more.

** Pupils have been sending in articles and poems for our Students News page. Click here to read a review of 2010 in Knockanean NS written by one of our pupils.

** VOLUNTEER PARENTS NEEDED for upcoming events. We could do with a few extra pairs of hands, and you would be doing your little bit for the school. Please text or phone 087-9430255 if you are available, we'd love to have you to help out at any of our events.

Credit Union
St Francis Credit Union will operate every Thursday Morning between 9:30am-10am. The main aim is to encourage students to adopt a regular savings habit. Application forms are available to pupils from 2nd - 6th class. More parents are needed to help with the school Credit Union. If you can spare half an hour one thursday morning please contact Anne Marie on 086-3530928 086-3530928.

A very big thank you to Michele Severn for all her hard work in getting the website up and running in early 2008. Micheles children have now moved to secondary schooland college but we are very grateful for all the work she put in to get the website sorted. Thank you Michele!
