Fifth Class Trip to Ennis

On Thursday, 27th of February, 5th class visited Milano’s, Clare Museum and Glór. We were dropped off at Milano’s at 9:30 am. Then the manager, Darragh gave us paper hats and plastic aprons. We started flattening the dough with are hands. Then the chef passed around the rolling pin. After we all rolled the dough the chef and the manager brought out the tomato sauce and mozzarella. After that we spread the sauce and placed the cheese on top and put it in the pan. The chef told us he put the oven on 371 degrees. When he took our pizzas out of the oven the waiters put them in boxes to take home. After Milano’s, we took a walk down the road to the museum. When we got there our tour guide took us into a room to show us about WW1. He had medals, postcards, a gun and much more. Next, we travelled to Glór for an art exhibition. There was 3D art, painting knitting and paper figures. Thanks to Mrs. Gavin and Margaret – we had a great day
