Róisín Meaney Visits Knockanean

Róisín Meaney came to our school on Tuesday, the 26th of November. She is an author. Her first book was called ‘The Daisy Picker’. She has written ten adult books and two kids books. She wrote a kids book called ‘See If I Care’ with Judi Curtin. She said her favourite author was Enid Blyton and she loves Roald Dahl books.  We got to ask lots of questions and then she read us a bit of “See If I Care” and now our teacher says we might get pen pals just like they did in the book. We all went up to her and got her autograph. Then we all said goodbye and thank you. It was great fun. Thank you Róisín Meaney!!
