On the 1st of October Fifth Class went to see Niall de Búrca in Glór. Our parents kindly drove us. Niall de Burca in an Irish storyteller originally from Galway now living in Dublin. He was very descriptive and imaginative. He told about four stories. It was for the start of National Children’s Book Festival. The Clare County Library set this up. He told each story with passion. Our favourite story he told was “Fionn Mac Cumhall and the Banshee on Halloween night”. We thank Mrs.Colleran for bringing us to an amazing event. We would like to see him again.
