Egyptian Day – Third Class

On Friday Jan 30th, 3rd class had an Egyptian Day. On the Thursday we made Egyptian cookies so they would be ready for the Friday. We used special butter called ghee in order to create a special taste. All the class dressed up as Egyptians for the day .We wrapped up some pupils in toilet paper to make them look like mummies. We all had project to do on Egypt and we talked to the class about this on the day. We also made a booklet with Egyptian drawings. We also did some writing in Hieroglyphics on papyrus. We made our own paper that looked like papyrus from shredded newspaper and water . We had a great day!!
