Fifth Class Trip to the Burren

On the first of December, 5th class went on a guided tour in the Burren led by Tony Kirby .We went on this trip because we are studying for a science fair which will take place  in Mary Immaculate College  in January. We are studying  ‘ Is the burren a biodiverse area.?’. Tony Kirby told us that the Burren is a biodiverse area. We also found out that the Burren has 9 different species of bats out of a total  of 10. We found out about different kinds of animals such as the badger and the cows in the Burren. We had a very interesting time.
