On Thursday – 14th of September, a few students from each class in Knockanean (first class and up) participated in the second round of cross country running. Beforehand, all students participated in the trials. The first six and two substitutes went on to represent Knockanean in the second round. In the race all of the runners did very good and there are a few who did particularly well. Sean O’ Callaghan who came 10th in U10 boys and Eabha O’ Driscoll who came 9th in her race U10 girls. These two students will go on to represent Clare and Knockanean in the Munsters. This is a great accomplishment for Knockanean and the two students who made it through.
