Christmas Activities 2019

Carol singing in Carrigoran House: On the 12th of December the choir and music club went to Carrigoran House. As soon as we arrived we had to be quiet because mass was on. In the entrance there was a Christmas tree. The Canon was there and we got to meet him. When mass was finished they sat down in front of us to watch us play music and sing Christmas carols and songs. After the music, we went around to say hello to everyone. Then some of the workers brought the choir into their kitchen and activity room. They had miwadi, chocolates, crisps and biscuits. Everyone sat down and had a chat. After a while we got on a bus to return to school. That evening the choir and music club got no homework!

“Limerick on Ice 2019”

On December 11th , 6th class students went to “Limerick on Ice” and went ice skating.  We had a great time and would love to do it again, even though we fell a lot!  After an hour of ice skating, we went to Arthurs Quay to go shopping. We were shopping for an hour and then left and went to Cratloe Woods.  There were a lot of little playgrounds and we played there for a while.  There was a big merry go round and John pushed us around very fast, it was really fun!  After we were finished in the woods we got back on the bus and headed back home.  It was the best day of the year so far!  By Ciara O Sullivan and Anna Lane
