Credit Union Quiz Munster Final:

On Friday, the 28th of February, the Regional Credit Union Interschools quiz took place at the Raddison Blu Hotel in Limerick. There were schools from Clare, Limerick, Tipperary and Cork. There were 10 rounds altogether, with 6 questions in each round. With a lot of time and effort, by the 7th round, we were tied at 3rd place. But soon, after the 10th round we were tied at 1st place with Broadford NS. And so, there had to be a tiebreaker. We had 3 questions to answer and we won by one point. It was really fun and we really enjoyed it. We are now going to the RDS in Dublin on the 5th of April for the All-Ireland Final.

St Francis Credit Union Quiz: On Fri Jan 31st we participated in a primary interschools quiz organised by St Francis Credit Union in the Inn in Dromoland. There were approximately 30 teams there. There were 10 rounds and there were 6 questions in each round. Half way through we were in 3rd place. Luckily by the end of the competition we had gotten an edge over all the other teams and we were the u11 schools champions. We were asked to come onto the stage to receive our awards and get our photo taken. We now go forward to the regional finals in the Radisson in Limerick on February 28th. We had great fun on the night and it was an honour to be allowed to participate in this quiz.
