On Fri 11th of Oct, three Buddhist monks came to visit the school. They were from Thailand and they were staying here for two months. They told us about their lives and the other monks in Thailand. They told us about their daily routine which involves getting up at 3.00am every morning!! They spend a lot of their days chanting and meditating. They only eat one meal per day and they don’t eat after 12.00 any day. They also showed us how they meditate and we got to try it with them. They wear orange coloured robes that represents the colour of Nature. They told us our school was a lot like their schools in Thailand. Only one of them could speak English.
