On the last week of school before the Halloween break 4th 5th and 6th class participated in the Intel Mini Scientist competition. Only one group gets to go through to the Munster final every year and if you get through after that then your group goes through to the National final in Dublin. This year Conor Hurley, Ben Kirby, Cal Kirby and Crevan Lane made it through to Shannon . With their project called “Satellites and Gravitational Pull”. They will go on to represent the school in Intel Shannon on the 7th and 8th of December. This year we are all very excited to be going to Shannon and we hope to get through to Dublin again for the second time in a row. The group that came second was Ailbhe Wright, AshlingAislinn and Astrid Penston. For more information go to Intel mini scientist.com. By Conor Hurley, Ben Kirby, Cal Kirby and Crevan Lane
