Thunder and Rain in Knockanean

On Friday, May 12th, Knockanean was alive with the sound of music…. We were all treated to a very enjoyable performance by the American Bluegrass band ‘Thunder and Rain’.  Read more and see some photos here.

A Skip and a Hop

All our pupils recently participated in a Skip Hop workshop.  They learned individual and partner skipping skills and finished the day with a display of the most impressive skills performed by children from different classes.  It is great to see the skipping ropes back in the yard at break times!  Read more and see some photos here.

Music Generation Concert

On Friday May 5th, Fourth and Fifth class performed at the Music Generation concert in Dánlann an Chláir.  Read more here.

Junior Entreupreneur Programme

Well done to Sixth Class who participated in the Junior Entrepreneur Programme and  showcased their Fairy Door Enterprise in the West County on April 25th.  Read more about the event here.

Easter Orienteering

On the Friday before the Easter holidays, the Junior Classes enjoyed a day of orienteering around the school grounds solving clues and hunting for Easter eggs.  Take a look at some photos here.

Realtóg

Well done to all our little stars who participated in Realtóg, a school celebration of Irish music, song and drama.  They all prepared so well and put on a great show for all the school to enjoy.  See some photos here.
