Ladies Football Division 1 final: 4^th, 5^th and 6^th class travelled to the Gael Scoil grounds on the 19^th of June to play the final against the Gaelscoil Mhichil Ciosog. It was a tough match but Knockanean were still too strong for the Gaelscoil, winning the first half by 4 scores. In the second half, Knockanean got some brilliant scores from Sinéad Clancy, Aoibhínn O’Loughlin, Orla Begley and Alannah Meaney. The Gaelscoil really pulled back into the game but our goalie, Úna Ní Choileán made some absolutely super saves which kept Knockanean in the lead. When the final whistle blew it was 5-5 to 1-2 to Knockanean! Everyone enjoyed the game and we were all very happy campers on the way back!!!
