Active School Flag

We proudly raised our Active School Flag, which was awarded to our school in recognition of our efforts to make our school more active.  A big thank you to the parents, pupils and staff who all worked together to achieve this success.  A special thank you to our Active School’s commitee who showed great commitment and dedication to their responsibilities throughout the school year.  Let’s work together again to make this another active, happy and healthy school year!

Knockanean do the double!

Cumann na mBunscol Finals:

A big congratulations to the boys and girls who won both the hurling and camogie finals in Cusack Park on Wednesday June 17th.  What a great achievement for the school!  Well done to all involved.  Click here to read about the hurling final and here to read more about the girl’s journey to victory.

Primary Game

Congratulations to the pupils who were picked to represent the school in the Primary Game:

Alannah (camogie) and Cian (hurling), who played at half time at the Clare v Limerick championship match in Thurles on May 24^th 2015.

Aoibhinn  (girls football) and Tony (football) who played at half time at the Clare v Limerick championship match in Cusack Park in Ennis on May 23^rd 2015.
